A peaceful place in the residential district of Merano

Villa Helvetia is located amid stately homes and luxuriant gardens in the renowned district of Maia Alta, known for its charm of yesteryear. From here, you can reach the Passirio river and the historic centre in just 15 minutes on foot, while your car is safely parked in our car park.

By car

From the south
- Take the Brenner motorway (A22) to the Bolzano Sud exit; then continue on the MeBo in the direction of Merano and take the junction for Sinigo. Take via Nazionale and then via Roma, before turning right into via Schaffer.

From the west
- Cross the Resia Pass and continue on the SS40 and SS38 up to Merano. After a short stretch on the MeBo continue on via Palade. Turn into via Parrocchia and via Blasius Trogmann, before arriving in via Schaffer.
- Cross the Stelvio Pass and continue on the SS38 in the direction of Merano; then continue as indicated above (the pass is only open in summer).

By train and bus

By plane

The South Tyrolean airline SkyAlps flies regularly from Brindisi, Cagliari, Catania, Lamezia Terme and Olbia. The other nearest airports are those of Innsbruck, Verona, Munich and Milan.
